Seva Retreat – North India
August 21 – September 3, 2020
Come with Friends of Madhuban
to the Himalayan foothills of North India and taste the sweetness of SEVA.
Join us in the Himalayan foothills of North India for a journey of growth and discovery. This is a unique opportunity for you to participate in seva (selfless giving) and to share your talents and passions. You will engage directly with the young women from local villages who are part of our innovative teacher training and with children from the local schools.
This magical place, these people and these moments will provide deep enrichment of heart and soul, changing you and the lives you touch forever.
We will journey to the Himalayan region known as Deva Bhumi (Land of the Gods). Our home will be the Sri Aurobindo Madhuban Ashram in the Kumaon Hills.
In addition to seva, you will enjoy:
- Hatha and Bhakti yoga (no experience necessary)
- Activities within the local community
- Day trips to Neem Karoli Baba’s Kainchi Dham Temple
